Why won't my Samsung S5 connect to car so I can transfer Contacts

When I try to connect Samsung S5 to car to transfer Contact list Bluetooth disconnects.

Welcome to Android Central! Which car (year, make, model)? Does it pair successfully at first, and only disconnect when you try to transfer the contacts?
