I have a Moto G 3rd gen. Emojis that I use on FB downloaded in to Gallery and I can't delete

AC Question

The download of emojis is taking up all my image space and somehow there are duplicates of the emojis and there is a 15 digit number super imposed on the image when you are looking at it in Gallery. Please advise how to delete these from my device
Any help would be appreciated.

Welcome to Android Central! Were these 3rd party emojis you downloaded? If so, those images are presumably saved somewhere on the phone's internal storage. The system then scanned that directory and detected new images, and therefore added them to the Gallery database. The Gallery images themselves don't take up space--the image files themselves (that were downloaded to the phone for use by Facebook) are what take up space. If the images have to be saved to the phone in order to use with Facebook, then leave them alone. If you need more space, then don't bother with using 3rd party emojis.
