My phone keeps all of the emails in my default account, but i want it to only show "new" emails.

I have an Android Verizon Galaxy S5. When I download emails to my computer, I erase the copy of the email from the server. When I get them on the phone, I want it so that I am ONLY seeing the emails that I have NOT downloaded to my computer. Long and short, I only want to see the emails that I have not downloaded to my computer. I have looked in the settings, but have no way of "telling" the phone to do this. I get a lot of email, so I don't want it filling up my phone.
