Samsung Galaxy s7 broken screen and won't power off.

AC Question

I received a replacement but to activate it I have to turn the old phone off? Since I can't see a thing on my screen I can't get it to turn off. Technical help with Verizon was a waste of my timeI've tried holding down both the power and volume up key then power volume down and after it vibrates hit the power screen did this four ways by scrolling The down volume key one at a time then hitting the home key like support suggested, but nothings working, Of course if I could I'd take out the battery. I still have like 60% battery life so I really don't want to wait until it dies to get it off. Ugh, any suggestions would be appreciated.
