Can't select allow when asked for permissions

[AC Question]

When installing an app, or adding accounts to calendar or gmail, or doing anything that causes the permission popup to appear on the screen with choices for deny or allow. When I touch allow nothing happens, it can't be selected. If I press deny it accepts that.

I'm on a nexus 6p with latest patches for android 6.

Any ideas?

Do you have a screen overlay, like Flux or Twilight?

No, don't have any of them as far as I'm aware. It's a new setup. Only had the phone 2 days.

I am having the exact same issue as the OP. Just installed the newest version of Pure Nexus on my phone, and i cannot select allow on any permission page. I have to go into the app settings to enable permissions. Very annoying. I uninstalled flux and my layers theme, and I still cannot get it to work. One thing to note, is that if there is option to never ask again, i select it and agree is greyed out.

Same issue here, and I agree that it's annoying. Nexus 6P, about two weeks old, Android 6.0.1, security patch level June 1, 2016.

Nothing to do with Reset App Preferences or Reset Defaults?

I figured out what it was for me. For some reason, when i give the app "Snap" overlay permission, it causes this issue. Hope this helps.
