I'm running Marshmallow on a S7. The Display settings customize screen timeout after x seconds or minutes of inactivity. But the settings do not work while in camera mode.

Do I need to change another setting somewhere or is there an app I can use?

    Thanks

I doubt that you can. After all what is the point in having your screen timing out after waiting for the right moment to take a particular shot?

The only time I want the screen off when I'm using the camera is when I'm doing time lapse, for this I use Framelapse pro, this allows the screen off as it takes the time lapse.

Perhaps you could see if the developer could add that option?

Was that directed at me, Framelapse pro already allows the screen off, I'm not the OP.
