PC Outlook contacts are not syncing to contacts on Phone

[AC Question]

I wiped out my contacts in Outlook/Hotmail (and Gmail, to simplify my contact lists and backup) and entered them back in manually (onto Outlook) on my computer. I then went to my phone and made sure my contacts were backed up and linked to Outlook, and then went to the contact list, I see only a percentage of the contacts there. And when I click on some, the phone number doesn't show up. Also a few (about 4 or 5) say they are linked accounts, but both accounts are listed as Outlook.

I'm really frustrated about this. Is it e-mail related? Should I make a new one and ditch the old and start fresh that way??
