my samsung s5 cannot unlock after software updating

"enter backup password in accordance with the updated security policy ,if u have forgotten your backup password ,tap change backup password ."

Above message is what showing after my samsung s5 software update. Before software update it was locked with finger print scanner . and now its asking backup password or if you have forgotten the password change backup password. But when I put new backup password also same old message repeats .. also it accepts when I swipe over the phone . But my phone is still locked

Hi, have you tried using Android Device Manager to unlock the phone?
