After exchanging the mother board of my daughters S5 very very carefully power button will not work

I carefully exchanged the mother board of my daughters completely broken galaxy s5 in order to get her the photos that have been stored internally. Everything was a success until she brought it to a sprint store to get it activated. The sprint worker said there was no signal and for me to open it up again and check the delicate antenna wire. I did everything was perfect and now it only shows the battery when charging and won't turn on. Does anyone have experience in taking this phone apart and could recommend what may have gone wrong with the power button?

What exactly was completely broken?

This type of thing probably will require taking the phone to a repair shop. DIY fixes probably won't work.
