Why can't I transfer my photos onto my sd card?

I have a sony xperia z3 and I am getting low on internal space, I have an 32gb micro sd card and when I try to transfer my photos (I have 3gb of them) from the storage settings, nothing happens and they won't transfer.

Hi, probably best connecting your phone to a computer, moving the media over that way then moving it to internal storage. Or download a file manager from the play store and replicate what I just mentioned.

Can you let me know what steps you've been taking?
