I'm looking to replace an iPhone 6 Plus. Prefer larger phones. Will be staying with Verizon.

Based on prior experiences owning many Android Phones, I know I prefer plain Android without any flavorings (TouchWiz, Sense, etc).

From what I've read, Nexus 6P sounds like a good choice, but I'm also hearing that new Nexus phones will be released before long. Is it a bad time to buy a Nexus 6P?

New Nexus phones are usually announced in late summer and released in Oct. or November. The 6P is still a good phone, just because a new one is due for release soon doesn't make it a bad buy, except the price is likely to drop sometime in the next few months.
