    I am using the stock music app on my current phone (it has a pink and white icon, and just says "Music") I've been using it for over a year now without any problems, but just today, it suddenly won't play my music anymore. If I hit the play button, it automatically stops again without playing anything.

    This happened literally over night. It was fine yesterday, and when I woke up, it was like this today, and clearing the restarting the phone, clearing the cache, and even reinstalling the music files have done nothing to solve it.

    I would try to backup any important data and do a factory data reset
