My phone is a LG G2 with the latest operating system. But I can not type! When I hit the c button I get an xcv and same with the letter r. I get a te not a r. I have to speak type EVERYTHING and I Dont have fat fingers either. The only way I can get a letter is by typing a word that start with that letter and then deleting the end of the word. Its driving me crazy and I'm only 15. Do I need a new phone? I have already tried restarting it ans it still won't work. Please help!

Hi and welcome to Android Central.

    What keyboard are you using?

If the stock keyboard on your device does not play nicely with you, you may install alternate keyboards from the Google Play Store. I didn't like the default Google keyboard on my devices, so I installed SwiftKey, which learned my typing style and agrees with me.

Go to keyboard settings and wipe data. This should wipe out what seems to be some type of accidental auto correct / short cut phases.
