    I think my sim card has been exchanged I have a galaxy 6+ edge and it keeps giving me a default error every time I call or text

    Hello.

    Do you mean you have no number.

    I don't think they can be cloned or anything software added.
    One sim for one number on your carrier account.

    Have you tried to reseat it.

    Look in Settings - About Phone - Status - Sim Status.

    No one can substitute a card except the carrier / network.

    Ask your carrier if they can help. Perhaps your phone is not sensing the card if it's a well used device, but then you would get a different message and notifications that there is no connection.
    Was this what you meant by a default error message.

    The way I know to keep track of the SIM number is to keep the "card" the SIM came in. Compare number the printed on card to info about phone in settings. You don't have to pull the SIM.
