I would like to know why I do not get notifications of friends on Facebook via my email?

Example:I want to see what is going on with "Mary" "Tommy" and Jenny" but I only get notifications from"Tommy"

I DO NOT want to get notifications from: "Bob" "Jack" and "Angela" but yet I get them from "Bob"...no matter what I do. I get them in my yahoo emails...

To adjust your email notifications from Facebook:
Click at the top-right corner and select Settings.
Click Notifications on the left.
Select Email.
From here, you can adjust your email notifications.
Also on each friends main profile page you can click on or off "follow" to choose who you want notifications of
