Why is my Samsung tablet 7.7 constantly rebooting and I can't reset?

my tablet is constantly rebooting and back up and reset isnt helping, everytime i tap erase nothing happens, its like i did'nt even tap it. so i went recovery mode, did the wipe and all that, then when i rebooted it nothing happened. please help me before my mother knows that its like this

Welcome to Android Central! Why are you concerned about your mother finding out? I doubt she'd be upset with you if the device itself is malfunctioning--unless you did something like tried to root it, or inadvertently got some malware installed to it.
