    i have 8 gb free space on my sd card.but still i cant download an app.

    Hello. Android needs some free headroom in device storage even if it's much more than any app size.
    What device and available storage do you have.
    Unless you have a device running Android 6.0 Marshmallow that also allows adoptable card storage, all apps you will probably know will download to device first. You can only move portions of some apps to the SD card, even though Settings - Apps - App Info implies you are Moving all to SD card.
    Then the app may be moved back by the OS with an app update.
    Some devices allocate limited storage for apps, even though there may be over 1gb available for media.
