I done some serious googling and not found another article/thread with something like this.

First I am running Beta 4 of Android Nougat on a Nexus 6P. Everything has been working fantastic until a few days ago. When I use the voice to text feature in Google Now App it works but but crashes if I go too long. For example "Text so and so - be there in 5 minutes" works great, but if I do a longer message the app hangs. It does this for every query beyond a certain length (roughly the size of the text box which normally scrolls once you go longer). It is the strangest thing.

    I have:
    - Restarted the device
    - Cleared data and cache
    - Disabled and uninstalled updates and re-installed updates (Google Play Services)
    - uninstalled my last few apps
    - Booted into safe mode, still happens

I am at my wits end and ready to do a full factory restore at this point. I just don't want to go through the time of setting everything up (will use Helium but about 1/2 my apps don't allow backups).

Hoping there is a fix that someone could suggest - thanks!

    p.s.
Beta 5 should drop sometime soon right, maybe this will fix it..?
