Your phone is a mini computer, so treat it as such.
Backup your photos.
Backup your music.
Backup your SMS texts.
Backup your contact list.

lso never allow it to connect to the internet. A device connected to the internet is inherently unsafe.

Download apps only from the Google Play store. Don't download any apps from other sources. (Amazon is ok but updates are few).

Don't use any Task killer apps. You don't really need it and if you do, you can do it within android.
