Moto G Lte/4G T1039 random restarts. Want to roll back to 5.0

[AC Question]

Hi everyone,

I've found loads of instances of this problem, but no real solution. I've just bought the phone off eBay (second hand like new) and it has the above problem. I had two of these phones when they were new, upgraded to the larger newer model, now back to t1039 because I used to like it, but hope I can get it going.

Scoured the web, tried factory reset, installing apps one at a time, etc, but the problem persisted even with a fresh install.

Shame it's not a reproducible error. Really annoying!

I want to try and get the system back from 5.1 to 5.0. Is this possible? Can someone tell me how to do it, or point me to a guide? I'm using a mac too.

Hi, the only way to roll it back would be to root the device and flash it. There are some good YouTube vidoes out there for tutorials.
