Hello, I have a Samsung Note 2 N7100 and I had to change its motherboard recently due to a hardware issue.Main question is, can I actually restore the files (images and videos) that I have hidden with the "hide" option on my phone before changing the motherboard? (note:the images stored on the device were from WhatsApp and I have transferred the backup on the SD Card, so all my images and videos are there except for the ones I've hidden).

Any data that was stored in the internal storage (non-SD storage location) is likely gone as that data is stored on a chip soldered to the board that was replaced.

I assume you had to sign in to Google on the device when you finished the work and re-install your apps?

If they're on the SD card, use PhotoRec (with the SD card mounted in a computer). It will recover anything that looks like a file, regardless of the file system on the card. (Careful - it could take days to finish.)
