Samsung Galaxy V won't start and won't enter recovery mode

[AC Question]

i don't know what a kid did to the phone and it suddenly cannot start and the screen is stuck with a red exclamation mark on top left. I want to try to hard reset the phone by all the guides for eg pressing home volume up and power button but it didn't work.

What else can I do?
