For readers who didn't see it, I had asked about a new notification chime my Galaxy Core Print started getting at sporadic times, day & night. There was no hint what it was reporting. It definitely does NOT reflect any texts, missed calls, nor blocked spams. Well, I finally solved it. No it was not NFS. And none of my cache deletions solved it. In the end, it was the fact I had incompletely deleted the Yahoo mail app by merely dragging its icon to the trash. Meanwhile I had left it displayed on a buried internet tab I didn't know to look for. So, I closed that tab/page. More importantly, then I "uninstalled" the app, (from the apps mgr page, if I recall correctly). That nuisance chime then permanently vanished, ever since I did these last steps. I hope this report is of use to others who may have a similar situation.
