Lollipop update caused lock screen error.

Since lollipop update. Keyboard blocks unlock screen if it is left active when the screen goes idle. I can not close the keyboard to get access to the pin pad. Phone needs restart to get logged in when this happens. Tried changing keyboards. Found others complaining about this but no update/fix yet. SAMSUNG-SM-G900V

Since the update my 'recents key doesn't work. And my notifications aren't showing up in the bar at the top of the screen or on my lock screen. Absolute pain in the back side. Needs fixing asap. Cannot remove update which is infuriating. Was fine before

been in online chat with Samsung. They advise plugging yr phone into yr computer via smart switch and reinstalling update - apparently it could have corrupted. Or factory reset
