My problem is the following one: A few months ago, i sent an assignment to the lecturer of one of my classes. Now, she claims that she has never received the assignment. The problem is, that the mails from this period are already deleted in Gmail. This has brought me to the question: Is it possible to edit the sent emails, i.e. fake an email and put in my sent mail-folder? I tried to find out if gmail stores data on the device, but didn't find anything. Where should i start looking?

My question may sound immoral, but for me, it would be quite important to be able to fabricate any "proof" of having sent that mail because if I cannot proove this, i will get a low grade which would in turn lower my scholarship.
