Galaxy S5 self typing and app pop up. tried factory reset but no help. any fix?

I have Samsung galaxy S5 and lately it has been going crazy, self typing and multiple pop ups of apps without me doing anything.
I have factory reset it and even did the cache partition but still nothing. Phone was not dropped and no water damage.
any fix? KP

It sounds like a problem with your touch screen. Factory resetting the device pretty much eliminates software as the culprit. All that is left is hardware to cause the issue. You may be left with trying to get it repaired, although with a 2-year old phone it might not be worth it. After factory resetting the phone did this happen right away, or did you install an app before it started happening?
