my LG G3 keyboard recently shrunk, how do I get it back to normal?

In portrait mode there is a space with an arrow in it on one side of the keyboard. I can slide the keyboard so the space is on the other side but I want to make it so that it fills the width of the screen. Note: Adjusting the keyboard HEIGHT does NOT fix this problem.

It has been a while since I used the LG stock keyboard, but try looking for the Settings gear on the keyboard; or go to your Settings app. You should be able to adjust the keyboard to your own desired layouts.
