I have a Huawei Y560 running Android 5.1.1. Yesterday I noticed a message running across my lock screen. This is part of the message

    00.800 scuzzy /XXvi, 00.0@008,000..0000..808088

Once I enter my pin and unlock the phone, the string disappears.

I'm worried it might be some kind of Trojan.

I have install AVG virus and no virus was detected.

    Any ideas what's causing this

Welcome to the forums. You could boot your phone into safe mode and see if the message still pops up. This will show if there's a problem in the system or just a conflict with a third party app that you downloaded. Tell us how it goes.

Hi, the message was still there after I booted in safe mode. It's actually like a ticker tape that runs through the middle of the screen.

Hi Chris, thanks for registering! Do you recall having any widget on the lock screen? Once you unlock, do you have any pending notification on your status bar? Also, check in your security settings what's listed under device administrators.

Hi, no widget and no pending notifications. The only device managers are Android Device Manager and now the AVG Anti Theft service.
