touch screen function isn't working

I just changed my battery on my droid mini and when I put it back together the touch screen doesn't work. Can you tell me how to get it working again?

Probably shouldn't have taken the phone apart in the first place as it sounds like you've damaged the screen somehow - take it to a repair shop and have someone look at it.
