I'm stuck in a bootloop for my Galaxy S4 Mini!

AC Question

Hi, yesterday evening I was using my phone as usual. I tried to download Snapchat, and while it was installing, suddenly a black, unresponsive screen. It was that way after a couple of hours, and I tried removing the battery, long holding various buttons, etc.

Eventually, it showed signs of life by booting up to the logo... then powering down. Then booting up, and powering down.
I can't access recovery mode, nor safe mode, but I can access download mode.
I've tried removing the battery overnight, keeping the battery in to let the phone wear itself out, and I tried to use Samsung Smart Switch. (Though as I predicted, your PC will not read your device when it is in this state.)

I have also tried for hours fiddling with the power button, as if that may be the cause. No luck, though. If your solution is to (somehow) wipe and factory reset the phone, I'd honestly rather not.

I'm not sure what to do now other than visit a phone service store and try to see what they can do. But that's honestly my last resort right now.
