    Well high ram usage is normal for android. It's the way it's designed to run. However a Hot battery is not nornal.

    Have you tried wiping system cache via recovery mode? You may need to do a full factory reset if that doesn't fix it.

    Some apps could also cause this problem. Think if you installed an app around the time this starter happening.

    Android should use all the ram it has,it's not Windows OS. And how does your battery get hot? It's the processor who heats up everything,not the battery.
