Got a problem with background data on S7

So I have my Galaxy S7, Verizon, Snapdragon variant. All is fine, however, installing apps won't work unless I have the screen on, and the play store open. Occasionally it will say "Background data must be turned on" but as far as I know, it's on.

Settings>connection>data usage>more there it should either say "restrict background data" or "turn off restrict background data". Click turn off option if it's showing. If not maybe try toggling it on then off.


Now under data usage find the Google Play store app and click on it. Ensure restrict background data option is not turned on.

You may also try wiping system cache via recovery mode.
