Phone won't turn on and there's a blue flashing light

[AC Question]

I put my phone on airplane mode and turned it off before going on holiday. When I landed I tried to open my phone but it would not load. I can get the samsung logo up through volume up/down and power but not by the power button itself. Whenever I get the samsung logo up, it crashes again. The only consistent thing is that there is a blue blinking light in the top left all the time, even when the screen is black. The most important thing for me is to get my photos off it as I went away two weeks ago and I don't want to lose all my photos!

It's an S6 galaxy.
