    Hello,
I have Z3 Dual I am trying to find out the read/write speeds of the internal MicroSD card slot.
I would like to buy the fastest card as I will be using it as the main hdd however there's no point buying a really fast card if the port itself can't utilize the cards max speeds.
    Does anyone know?
    Thanks in advance!

    Welcome to AC!
Micro sd cards come in "classes".
    Class 2 - bad
Class 4 - is ok for pictures and low res videos.
    Class 6 - apps n others.
    Class 10 - 1080p 60f/s videos
    Class UHS-1 - 2k videos
    Class UHS-3 - 4k videos.
Here you have it. You probably won't need anything higher than class 10,your phone doesn't record more than full hd

I also want to know the answer to this question for the Z3.
The OP has asked the speed of the internal microSD card controller not what the type of classes of microSD cards are. It's no point buying UHS-3 card if the onboard controller maxes out at 10mb/s.
    Does anyone know?
    Thanks.

Any Class 10 UHS-1 microSD card should work.
