My Nexus 5 shuts off by itself?

It started with while using my my phone and while it still has 20% of battery, it shut off by itself. If I try to turn it on immediately the phone will not turn on. But if I wait an hour it turn on with 20% of battery. But even if I try to use it with that "20% of battery" it will shut off again. If I'm not using it, it won't shut down by itself. Every time is worse, the last time that I tried to use it, the phone shut off with 60% of its battery. I haven't installed any apps lately, I only have like 10 on my phone. Please help me.

It may be that the battery is failing.
