My Galaxy S5 keeps asking me for a new backup password

[AC Question]

After my Galaxy S5 shut down due to battery shortage I tried to open it again. I used the right backup bassword, then it asked me to use my fingerprint which I did and then it asked me for a new backup password. I gave a new backup password. confirmed it by typing it again and then my phone took me back to the screes where I had to give my original password. It looks like it is going in a loop. I can't get out of this.

Have you tried a wipe system cache partition? That seems to fix soooo many things! Check out the article.

same with My problem, backup password loop, but in samsung Note 4, locked out.....uffhh
