Phone got dropped in the ocean left there for a long time light is still flashing

[AC Question]

i went swimming and left my phone the tide built up and got my phone i dont know how long exactly the phone was left there but right wen i got home i put it in rice. the light is flashing on the phone but i'm to afraid to turn it on. if my phone is broken at least its not like my friends who's phone got took by the waves and is lost in the ocean now. !please help i have a Samsung galaxy s note 4!
