    Welcome to Android Central!
    Power your device off.
    Hold Power + Volume Down + Home.
    When it boots up into recovery let go of the power button and wait for it to actually boot the recovery mode.
    After this you should see a factory reset button.
    And this is how you reset your phone.

    Welcome to the forums. After the wrong pattern attempts, aren't you prompted to enter your Google credentials? Have you already tried using Android device manager from a different device?

    Just a note, the instructions for a factory reset from recovery included in the previous post won't work in your Moto G. I think they are only correct for some Samsung devices.
