Why is the call volume so low on the S7?

[AC Question]

I have the galaxy S7. I used the actual phone today to talk to someone. Usually I talk thru a headset or thru the car speakers. I never had a volume issue. When in the call today, i thought the other person was on speaker phone. The call was very faint. i pushed the extra volume icon and it barely increased. The volume is all the way up on the phone. Is this a defect or is there a way to fix it? I've only had my phone for maybe 2 weeks.

Did it come up with that annoying message about high volumes may damage your hearing etc? Gives me the pips that does! Or you may have something in the speaker hole.....? Spill some sticky liquid on it? Mine is loud enough so you may have some issue there.. Good luck!

Test your phone's speaker volume/earphone's volume and see if it's a hardware problem.
