LG G3 Restarts when opening certain apps

[AC Question]

My phone seems to restart when opening certain apps (mainly Snapchat) and upon restarting it has considerably less battery life, for example this morning I had 78% battery, opened snapchat, phone restarts. Comes back on, 30% battery. Any kind of explination would be appreciated and a solution would be even better! (yes I could just not use snapchat that would solve the issue, but thats not the point)

Welcome to the forums. It could be a sign that the battery is starting to fail. Can you replace it for a new one?
