Galaxy S6 Active-For some reason I can not send messages via any app with the keyboard open..

It seems like since the newest update( not positive) but in the last week or so I have not been able to send any message with the keyboard open. I have to back space it closed then send. I haven't knowingly changed anything it just started happening. It is for every app that I can message with and doesn't matter if it's sms or a password or a search bar or a status, it's across the board and super annoying. Please help. Any insight would be greatly appreciated. Thanks and GOD bless.
