I was given a Galaxy S3 phone,I bought sim card, charger, and new battery. Now i beiieve it wasn't the battery causing the issue.I know when i plug in the Charger it doesn't always show its charging so sometimes it takes several times to get it to show its charging.I thought it was the USB causing the problem but would that make the phone show 100% charged when its only at 35% ? I could use some advice and i really don't want to spend alot of money on a phone i got free,i already spent to much on it lol. Thanks for taking the time to look at the post.( I'm 55yrs old, this is my first cell phone crazy as that may sound)

Is it a correct charger for the device, if the charge is under powered it may be giving false readings.

Hi Thanks for your reply, yes its the correct charger or at least the guys where i bought my sim card and minutes sold me.Paid $40.00 for the darn thing,Anyways I ordered a different charger one that you stick battery into then directly into the wall,so don't need to fart around with charger port. Thanks again Grim.
