I just got a text today, about 40 minutes ago? Someone texting me saying my friend Hana made some posts about me on something called yayhashtag

The thing is, I don't know anyone named Hana, and the text came from somewhere in northern california. I live in pennsylvania.

Here are pictures for a reference: hhttp:// imgur .com /a/olOTy

I know, I know, opening the message was a terrible idea, but what i want to know is:

A.) how can i tell if theres a virus on my phone
B.) if there is a virus, what the best way to get rid of it, and
C.) how can i protect friends who might get the same text.

Also, I'm using the S7 right now

    That is common spam.
Forward it to your carrier's spam reporting address.
    Don't click on the link.
