Why on my Samsung s7 can I not hit enter when my keyboard is open??

when I'm sending a text or rewriting a post or anything with the keyboard open for some reason hitting the enter button won't work. I have to close the keyboard every time. Does anyone else have this issue???

OMFG, yes! I've been looking all over for a solution to this problem. It just started like a week ago, I thought it was just my texts, but now it's facebook and twitter....

I don't have a solution, but following in case someone does!

As a side note, I have no specialty keyboards installed, just stock.

I am having the same issue and I have a s7 edge. At first I thought it was my screen protector. I took it off and yet it was still not working. Then I uninstalled the keyboard app I had downloaded and still nothing. Then I cleared catche and still had the same problem. The only thing that fixes it is turning off phone but then a couple hours later the problem persists. I did a hard factory reset of my phone and it worked fine for 3 days and here I am again with the same issue.
