I forgot my password on mu phone!

I forgot my password on my phone. I've tried multiple times to find out what it could be. Even though I've tried more than 10 times, the "Unlock via Google" is not showing up. The mobile is on a password cool down right now and i could use some more valid suggestions.

Welcome to Android Central! Which phone? If you can't remember your password, you could try using Android Device Manager to lock the phone with a new password; however, whenever I see people suggest this, it usually doesn't help.

Ultimately, you might have to do a hardware button factory reset. After the reset, you'll have to enter the same Google username/password, so hopefully you remember that. All locally saved data will be lost.
