I think there is a big battery problem with my Moto e(1st gen.)

My phone completely gets charged up to 100%- fine!
Then after using for 40 mins it reaches till 78% then it completely shows 1% then 0% then shuts down....and then when I charge it again it charges fast like from 1% till 28% it is quite slow but just when it reaches 29% it shows 100% charged...please help..I even talked with the service centre ..

It could be a failing battery.

Welcome to Android Central! I agree. A sudden drop like that can mean that the battery has a dendrite, which is irreversible. Bring it to a repair shop to replace the battery.
