s4 mini gt-i9195 is completely dead and won't do anything

[AC Question]

My phone was charging last night when I went to bed and I woke up to a black screen. Tried using different charger: nothing. Take out/reinsert battery: nothing. Tried holding Power+Volume Up (and down)+Home buttons: nothing. Had connections checked by computer guru: connections good but still nothing. Called Samsung: wants to repair phone $70+. I have NOT tried another battery but I did order one today. Any suggestions:?
