Need help saving my water damaged Samsung S6 Edge

[AC Question]

My S6 Edge was dropped in a puddle, only the bottom half sunk below the water. I grabbed it in literally 5 seconds and dried it off. I thought this phone was fairly water resistant so I didn't really worry. It worked fine for one hour before the screen refused to turn on. After about 30 seconds of trying to turn the display on it gave a bit of life and the screen powered up, after that scare I put it straight in a bowl of rice. The interesting thing is that the phone vibrates when I pick it up, because I have the smart pick-up setting on. However the display gave nothing. The phone has not been plugged in to avoid a power surge. Is there anything I can do to improve the chance of this phone surviving?

You already did the recommended actions (rice). Not sure what else you can do but wait it out or take it to a repair shop for evaluation.
