I cannot re-charge my Smart prime phone 7

[AC Question]

Purchased a Vodaphone Smart prime 7 in UK; there was no instruction book.
Came back to Mauritius and am unable to properly negotiate it eg unable to load a Boots token on to my phone balance.
Please are you able to show me how to load it.
There is no help forthcoming here.

I thought Boots gift tokens were to be spent at Boots. Boots have no connection with mobiles so I'm confused
