I have a samsung galaxy prime from straight talk.
Too many google play apps were preinstalled. In app manager I can diable them with a warning given, but will it take up the same MB space? If so why do I bother? Will app in disable form hurt other apps if they were never in use?
    Thanks.

Welcome to Android Central! Disabling an app will uninstall any update and reinstall the factory-installed version (which will usually clear up some space, since updated apps are usually bigger than the original). Disabling an app that you never use might improve performance minimally by preventing that app from opening automatically into RAM. This way, the system can open other apps that you use more frequently into RAM, thus making app opening and switching a little more efficient.
